Lambretta TS1 230 with Mikuni TMX 32mm & PM28 exhaust (thanks to Alex @ Lambretta.li)

needle 6FJ6 (leanest position)
main jet 290
pilot jet 22.5
slide 5 (important)

Lambretta TS1 225 road tune with Dellorto VHSA 30mm carb & Taffspeed exhaust

needle jet = DQ262

K23 needle (clip in middle position, top = leaner)
main = 150

pilot = 40

The pilot jets range from 35 to 100 in one size increments. Be careful that reduction of the pilot jet does not require an increase in needle jet as these do create an overlap. Slow running cd1atomiser (fitted as std.) affects idle and up to 1/3 throttle.

Alternatively try the following richer configuration:

needle jet = DQ264
K5 needle (clip in top position)
main = 142

pilot = 40

OR richer still

needle jet = DQ265

K5 needle (clip in top position)
main = 145

pilot = 40

Lambretta TS1 225 with Mikuni 34mm & West Coast Lambretta race exhaust
needle = 6FJ6 (middle position)

pilot = 35

Lambretta TS1 225 with Mikuni TMX 35mm

needle - EN1155 - top position (leanest)
main = 350
pilot = 20
slide = 6

Not ideal but good place to start ...

No. 3 1/2 slide
power jet blanked off

Airscrew set at around 1 1/2 turns out

This leaves the mid range pretty rich, if the bike splutters and 4 strokes around 1/4 to 3/4 revs then gradually weaken off the needle setting. You may even need to go down to a 107 needle jet. Always start off rich to be safe.
